The popular Bike Aboard! program will kick off on Saturday in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Bicyclists can pedal on the Towpath Trail and then take a Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad train back to their starting point for $3 (ages 3 and older).

The program attracted 22,614 bicyclists in 2015.

The tickets cover a one-way trip once per day. Bikes are transported on the trains.

The program is available every Saturday and Sunday in April and Friday through Sunday in May.

The program is available Wednesday through Sunday from June through October.

Bicyclists can flag down the train at nine boarding stations along the bike-and-hike trail from Akron to Independence.

A new station has been added at the Big Bend Area of Sand Run Metro Park off Merriman Road in northwest Akron.

Bicyclists are asked to arrive at the boarding stations 10 minutes before scheduled train departures.

Go to www.cvsr.com for directions to all the stations.

Annual Bike Aboard! passes are available for $35. They cover one individual from April to October.
