Tasting offers perfect combination of Pizza and Pints

The new West Point Market is hosting its first tasting, Pizza and Pints, 6 to 8 p.m. at 33 Shiawassee Ave., west of Fairlawn Town Centre. It’s a chance to try out some of the craft beers on tap in the bar area, and pizza and snacks will be provided. No RSVP required; just drop in. www.facebook.com/westpointmarket.

Shine a light on compassion

The New World Performance Laboratory is participating in the Ghostlight Project, which is encouraging gatherings in theaters around the country “to light a light and make a pledge to stand for and protect the values of inclusion, participation, and compassion 
for everyone — regardless of 
race, class, religion, country 
of origin, immigration status,

Show is homeowner’s dream
