The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton is “Blimpworthy” under a new arrangement with Goodyear.
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. on Monday announced a new sponsorship agreement with the Pro Football Hall of Fame that ties into the company’s Blimpworthy marketing program.
The Hall of Fame and Goodyear said the new program will celebrate “the spirit of football – hard work, grit and determination – on and off the field.”
The Akron tire maker coined the term Blimpworthy in 2011 to draw attention to its brand by asking sports fans which college football game the Goodyear blimp was worthy of covering.
Goodyear said it will tap into the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s archive and share what it calls Blimpworthy stories through Hall of Famers and events that transformed their careers.
