‘Creepy’ night at Nightlight

The Nightlight is showing Creepy, by Japanese writer-director Kiyoshi Kurosawa, whose work has been compared to Fritz Lang and David Lynch. The plot involves a retired detective examining a cold case and strange goings-on next door. Showtimes are 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the cinema, 30 N. More campy than creepy ‘Rocky’

For a Halloween experience that’s more campy than creepy, do the time warp again as the Canton Palace Theatre shows The Rocky Horror Picture Show at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7. The Canton Palace is at 605 Market Ave. N., Canton; 330-454-8172, www.cantonpalacetheatre.com.

‘Night of the Living Dead,’ live!

See a stage production of Night of the Living Dead, one of the original modern zombie tales, at the North Canton Playhouse, 525 Seventh St. NE, North Canton. 8 p.m. Tickets are $15, $13 seniors and students (17 and under) at 330-494-1613, www.northcantonplayhouse.com.

Scary organ ‘Pipe Screams’

For kids who haven’t gotten enough candy, trick-or-treat to a live organ concert, “Pipe Screams,” from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Congregational Church of Hudson. It’s a free event. The church is at 47 Aurora St.
