The Cleveland Orchestra pays tribute to its hometown superhero in a Family Concert at 3 p.m. at Severance Hall. HalloWinds are blowing at University of Akron
University of Akron music students perform HalloWinds at 7:30 p.m. at Guzzetta Recital Hall, 157 University Ave., Akron. The creatively named groups include BassoonaRoo, OcTuba Quartet and RooReeds, as well as the Flute, Clarinet and Trombone Choirs. The performers will be in costume and encourage the audience to do so too. It’s free.
