PLAIN TWP.: A Plain Local Schools bus driver was cited Tuesday for not stopping at a stop sign after a crash at the intersection of Fulton Drive Northwest and Michaels Boulevard Northwest.
No one was injured in the accident.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office said the bus failed to yield and collided with a Nissan Frontier at 2:45 p.m.
The bus was carrying 14 students, and there was one occupant in the Nissan Frontier. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
The drivers were not identified in a news release.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact sheriff’s deputies at 330-430-3800.
