A video of Twinsburg K-9 officer Yasso lapping up a Starbucks “puppuccino” has lapped up more than 880,000 views in the past few days.
“Life is full of rewards. It’s not always work and training for him,” says a post accompanying the video of Yasso, a German Shepherd, devouring the treat before the vehicle in which he is riding even leaves the Starkbucks drive-through.
The video of Yasso digging into the “puppuccino” was posted last week on the Twinsburg K-9 Unit Facebook site. Viewers had shared it more than 16,000 times as of Monday afternoon.
The video begins with Yasso hanging out a back window of the vehicle. An employee hands him the “puppuccino” — a Starbucks cup full of whipped cream — and Yasso dives in.
“I thought that would be too much for you. Apparently not,” says someone — apparently the Starbucks employee — who is off screen.
“Such a good boy,” the voice says.
For the record, the “puppuccino” run was made while Yasso was off duty, according to a hashtag accompanying the post.
The officer with Yasso is Yamil Encarnacion. The Starbucks is at state Routes 82 and 91 in Twinsburg.
