’90s stars performing in My2K tour

Travel back in time to the ’90s with the My2K show at the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park. On the bill are Ryan Cabrera, Dream and former boy bands (man bands?) Dig for fossils at Firestone Metro Park

Kids love dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures; let them get dirty and search for buried fossils from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Firestone Metro Park, Tuscarawas Meadows Area, 2620 Harrington Road, Akron. Adults must accompany their children. 330-865-8065.

Brass band to play in Howe Meadow

The Revolution Brass Brand plays at 6:30 p.m. on the “Music in the Meadow” concert series at Howe Meadow, off Riverview Road in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Bring a blanket, a picnic and the family; activities begin at 5:30 p.m. http://forcvnp.org/mim.

Local comic to appear at Funny Stop

Local comic Chad Zumock appears all week at the Funny Stop in Cuyahoga Falls. The Kent State graduate promises “high energy humor, brutal honesty about his life, and quick slacker wit.” Shows are at 8 nightly through Saturday, with additional shows at 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
